The park is a 2-acre public open space located near the Palm Springs Art Museum.  Shaw & Sons installed the feature shotcrete sedimentary walls that house the police substation, public restrooms and waterfall.  The walls and hardscape  including the splash pad and event stage were custom finishes created for the RIOS and the City of Palm Springs. The color concrete color palette is inspired by the region.  Granite sands were pneumatically applied on the surface of the paving for added durability and to achieve the golden sand tones.
