Located in the heart of the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles, the Alloy project brings together architectural innovation and community-centered design. Shaw & Sons' scope of work included integrally colored concrete with a refined light wash finish, lending a clean and contemporary aesthetic throughout the site. Distinct board-formed concrete benches and walls add depth and craftsmanship, while custom cast wood-textured social seating areas at the ground floor create inviting spaces for residents and visitors to gather, relax, and engage with the surrounding community. The result is a dynamic public realm that reflects the creative spirit of the Arts District while offering durable and artful concrete solutions.
