The Pechanga Gaming facility began its initial development south of the City of Temecula in Riverside County in 1995. As with other tribal gaming ventures throughout California, Pechanga has developed very quickly with multiple facility expansions since being established almost 10 years ago.

Wimmer Yamada & Caughey has provided landscape architectural services to the tribe on the gaming facility and adjacent reservation development since 1996. The most recent phase of development includes a larger casino, food service and theater expansion and parking structure to serve guests.

Shaw & Sons developed the finishing techniques used to highlight the symbols. The finished product is a timeless combination of art and engineering that will provide permanent reference to the tribe’s rich history and culture. In addition to the concrete paving, two natural spring water features were created at the casino entry to symbolize the importance of water to the region. The word Pechanga means “Dripping Water” in the native language of tribe.
